Our tentative plans are as follows: Leave Midway heading north to Alton, IL near St Louis on the Upper Mississippi River. Toscana will spend about a month there, as Amy runs home for work, and I take a couple weeks to move a customer boat from Ft Myers to Tennessee.
After that brief stay we will be continuing up river, likely to somewhere near Savannah, IL for another stop off to see friends from my years back in Illinois.
Next leg will see us head for La Crosse, WI. We intend to spend most of August and September here, catching up with people from my hometown and spending time with my Grandfather. He is 98 and we won't have many more chances! Sometime in Aug we will be taking him and my aunt on a 10-14 day trip to Minneapolis and back to La Crosse.Grandpa sold most of his farm equipment this spring, and I picked up the Farmall "B" and am going to drive it in "The World's Fair" tractor parade he takes his CO-OP on every year mid September.
Somewhere near Oct 1 we will begin heading south again... depending on the weather. If it gets cold early we may leave early. If not, we may hang on a couple weeks. Either way we will likely not make the Fall Rendezvous this year. However we have made Joe Wheeler State Park our home marina and will be heading there when we go south in the fall.
Our plans from there are up in the air. We may decide to go on south and do the loop, we may stay in TN/AL another year and do more upgrade projects... no one knows! :)
I have been acquiring lots of footage and hope to begin publishing some videos this summer. I have found it takes alot of "B" roll to put together the first couple of videos, plus as fun as our adventures are, we need a few stacked up if we hope to publish on a regular basis.
