3/9/2020

The move of JGT to Tennessee kicked off in full swing this weekend. First full load delivered and unloaded, allowing some time aboard. It is certainly more fun to travel, but Toscana is also a welcoming home away from home when needed! :)

To start things off...

Welcome to this new page on Blogspot! Since the purchase of Toscana, I have used a Facebook page for posting content. That can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/mvtoscana/ and on the link in the Page Navigation section.

Searching through content, especially viewing in Chronological order, as anyone familiar with Facebook, is well not possible. The newest is at the top, and you must scroll through to eventually get to the beginning. This works fine for those following in real time, however late to the party folk's have a real headache going back.

So welcome to the new home for updates! The Facebook page contains the details of the 4 day cruise from Green Bay, WI to Winthrop Harbor, IL, in August 2019. Some of the updates and upgrades added in Winthrop are as well documented. The 15 day trip from Winthrop Harbor, IL to Waverly, TN (her new home) is also included. I pulled out a few photos to add here, but please follow the link above for all the great details.

The Great Loop cruise, is unfortunately an adventure that must wait. We will look forward to seeing "loopers" along KY Lake and the Tennessee River, as well as any that stop in at Cuba Landing on their way to Mobile, AL. We might even make an AGLCA Fall Rendezvous or two in Rogersville, AL! So please check in often, subscribe for updates, or just check in and say Hi! :)
