Return to Cuba Landing

After a night out with our friends Bubba and Jean, we got a late start yesterday. On top of that it was that painful part of the year where we fill fuel tanks! Paris Landing has the best fuel price ($3.099/gal) so we didn't get moving until about 10am. A nice peaceful cruise to Pebble Isle, and lunch with our buddy Adam, then some wind and rain from there back to Cuba Landing. We had plans to be out this weekend, however the forecast shows chance for hail, so we put the mast down and tucked Toscana back in her slip, for a few days anyway!

A small cell developed on us leaving Pebble, just a few minutes of rain, then back to sun and calm waters.

River life is tough folks, but hey someone has to do it!

Party on the water!

Our plans for this week sure have changed! Unfortunately we were not able to host Grandpa, as Uncle Van had to have a test done during the time they were to come down. We are hoping for good results from that!

Some of Amy's Family was down to their cabins near Dover, TN. We met them for dinner Wed near Paris Landing, as Fat Daddy's had lost power when we arrived. We also learned the deck boat they had wasn't running right, so we took everyone out for a ride and a swim! We took them south to Danville, TN and the site of the abandoned depot that loaded barges before Kentucky Lake was flooded. We anchored and everyone got some swimming and diving in, just another wonderful day on the water!

Flybridge Fridge as a diving platform... Who Knew?!? ;)

With all these folks onboard, needed some help piloting! :)
