More fun away, and the return to Green Bay!

 Monday, September 21:

I got up and worked all day.  Wes did work around the property in TN.  I enjoyed dinner and watching TV with my folks before heading to bed.

Tuesday, September 22:

I got up and worked all day.  During my lunch break, I packed up our laundry.  Wes continued working on the property and office in TN.  Not much to report.

 Wednesday, September 23:

Another day of work for both myself and Wes.  He was able to get most of what needed to be done in TN taken care of.  After I was done working, I watched TV with my folks, then went to bed.

 Thursday, September 24:

I worked all day again.  During my lunch break, I went to the post office and mailed Aunt Gay her jacket.  Wes drove up to IL and arrived around 1900.  He stopped at Heritage Harbor on his way north and visited with folks there before arriving.  My parents and us went to the Mexican restaurant in town and enjoyed a nice dinner.  Then back to my folks house where we got their antenna hooked up and running so they could watch local TV.  We watched a little TV then went to bed.

 Friday, September 25:

We got up and did our last minute packing then hit the road around 0715 to make our way back to Green Bay.  I worked while we drove and did a couple calls on the way.  Once we arrived, we unloaded the car.  Once I was done with work, we went to the stores to provision.  We got restocked on food and beer, then back to the yacht club where we went up to the clubhouse for dinner and some beverages.  We enjoyed visiting with everyone then called it a night around 2100 and went back to the boat and went to bed.

 Saturday, September 26:

We got up and Wes did some computer work while I read.  Then returned the rental car.  We had a quiet day on the boat, then went up to the club house around 1630 for the commodore's zero K run and cookout.  We brought our smoked cream cheese as our dish to pass.  We enjoyed visiting with the various members, participated in the zero K "run" and enjoying a shot when we call crossed the finish line (we just walked over it).  Then we went inside and enjoyed dinner, drinks, conversation and even a new game (Penny Drop).  We also participated in the 50/50 raffle which we didn't win, and bid on a basket in the silent auction, which we did win.  All in all it was a fun night!  We called it a night around 2230 and went back to the boat to go to bed.

Sunday, September 27:

We got up and Wes did more computer work.  We watched church, then around 1230, Pete and Cheryl came and picked us up and drove us to Chamber Hills where we sat outside under the big tent and enjoyed some beverages while we listed to The Geezers.  Two of the band members are also members of the GBYC and they played 60's, 70.s & 80;s rock.  The Barnes, Wayne and his wife, Tom and Gary and his wife also joined us.  It was a fun afternoon listening to good music and enjoying great conversation.  The were done playing around 1700, so Pete and Cheryl dropped us off at the club house where we went in to have some additional beverages with some dinner while we visited with Heather.  We called it a night around 2100, went back to the boat and went to bed.
