Monday, Feb 9:
We got up and took our time a bit. We pulled anchor around 0830 and headed toward Marathon. We arrived shortly after 1415 and dropped the anchor. David from Selah Way came out on his dinghy as we were dropping our anchor. He came aboard and we enjoyed a short visit. Then Ron and Audrey on Knot on Call swung by on their dinghy and let us know that they were going to Porky's for happy hour. So once I got done with work, we dropped the dinghy and went to Porky's where we visited with a bunch of loopers. It was a great visit! They told us there was room in Banana Bay, so we pulled anchor and went in. I made dinner while Wes visited. I was able to quickly say hi to Michelle on Agape. After dinner, we visited some more with all those here. We went in around 2000 and watched a little TV then went to bed.
Tuesday, Feb 10:
We got up and we both did our respective bible studies. Then I started working. Wes took the scooters down and he explored some and visited with Mike Bell. Papa took a walk around the marina. Wes checked us in when he got back. For the most part, everyone relaxed most of the day. When I was done working, David and Amy from Selah Way came and picked us up and took all four of us to Keys Fisheries where we enjoyed some beverages, appetizers and dinner. We had a very enjoyable visit! When we got back to the boat we watched some TV then all went to bed.
Wednesday, Feb 11:
Wes got up and went over to visit with Paul on Agape (Michelle was still in Miami). I got up and started working. We dropped the lines around 1000 and started to head to Tavernier to Ed and Merri Edda's place. It was a beautiful ride until we went out into the Atlantic and then it was a bit lumpy as we were taking the waved on the beam. Wes put up the sail which made it a little less lumpy. We arrived at the Stoner's around 1630 and were greeted by Serenity II as well. We got all secured, then we enjoyed docktales with everyone. It was us, my folks, Chris and Denise, Ed and Merri Edda, and Monica (on Meander). Then we all had dinner together which was a combined effort with all pitching in. It was a very enjoyable evening! Then we went back to the boat and relaxed for a little bit then off to bed for all of us.
Thursday, Feb 12:
We got up and Wes made breakfast for everyone. We all enjoyed eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns and toast. I went to work while Wes and Chris helped the Stoner's with some projects around the house. Then Chris went in the water and got the line that was wrapped around our prop removed and said everything looked good under the boat. We enjoyed dock tales at their Tiki bar, I made meatloaf and carrots while Denise made mashed potatoes. It was a good dinner with great company. We all were laughing so much!! We hung out a bit after dinner continuing with laughing and telling stories. We all called it a night and went back to our boats and then shortly thereafter, we went to bed.
Friday, Feb 13:
I got up and started working. Wes got our scooters down. Wes, Papa, and Chris helped around the property with various projects. When I was done working, we all got together for dock tales and dinner. I made chicken broccoli alfredo with garlic bread. It went over well and was enjoyed by all. Heart Harbor is so pretty at night!! It's all lit up and looks magical! Another wonderful evening filled with singing and laughing!
Saturday, Feb 14:
We got up and started working on the wall near the Tiki bar as it needed some repairs and Merri wanted to make it sparkle, so we put in some seashells, colorful rocks and other things that people contributed. The boys worked on the cement part and us girls worked on trying to make it look pretty. We finished it off with some glitter paint that did a great job of blending it all together. There some other projects that we all worked on as well. I made a pan of brownies for dessert for us all for Valentines Day. We loaded up the smoker with three pork tenderloins (curtesy of Serenity II), then jumped in the dinghy to go check out toilet bowl alley. We were going a bit slow with three of us in the dinghy (Papa, Wes and I), but it was a fun ride. Who would have thought of putting decorated toilet bowl seats on poles in what seems like the middle of nowhere, but it was interesting! When we got back we all went up and enjoyed some beverages during dock tales, I made some cheesy potatoes (one spicy and one not) and some marinated asparagus. It was delicious and enjoyed by all! It was another night filled with lots of laughter!!

Sunday, Feb 15:
I woke up not feeling the best. I had a very sore throat, but after some water and throat spray, it was ok. I sat on the bow for a little bit and saw a manatee. The boys helps with more projects. Papa was doing a lot of lighting work that Merri wanted done. Wes helped Monica with some items on her boat as well (water pump issues). The boys had a busy day. I was little help as I still felt "off" all day and even laid down for a couple hours. We decided to take a night off cooking, so we order pizza for dinner. Wes had done two batches of smoked cream cheese, so we had some for appetizers and shared some with everyone so they could enjoy it on their own as well. It was another great evening of music, stories and laughter!
